Susan
Kolodkin practices in the area of general
business and corporate law. She has broad
corporate experience and has represented
a wide variety of clients in mergers and
acquisitions (both public and private company
transactions), private equity transactions,
strategic alliances and other joint ventures,
outsourcing transactions (including business
process, human resources and IP outsourcing),
license agreements, other services agreements
and general corporate and contract work,
and in drafting, reviewing and negotiating
a variety of legal documents. Her clients
have included Sprint-Nextel, Accenture,
Encompass, The Coca-Cola Company, American
Express, ING, Budget Rent-a-Car, Arcapita,
Delta Airlines, Ansett Worldwide, Financial
Asset Management Services, Quality Care
Providers (a physician network) and GECC.
Susan
graduated from Northwestern University with
a major in Political Science and a minor
in French. During that time, she studied
French for a semester at the Universite
de Dijon in Dijon, France.
Prior
to working at Tatum Hillman Hickerson &
Powell, Susan was of counsel in the corporate
department of King & Spalding (1998-2009),
a partner in the corporate department of
Minkin and Snyder (1996-1998), an associate
in the corporate department of Cohen Pollock
Merlin (1994-1996), an associate in the
tax department of King & Spalding (1991-1994),
and an associate in the tax department of
Cravath, Swaine and Moore (1987-1991).
Susan
and her husband have two children. In her
spare time, Susan enjoys running, cooking
(and eating), football and playing cards.
